Maple Balsamic-Dijon Vinaigrette
This sweet and spicy dressing may be your new favorite salad dressing. Filled with sweet maple flavor and a spicy kick from the Dijon mustard it pairs well with salads of all kinds and makes a great marinade for salmon or pork. Substitute the olive oil for soy sauce with fresh minced ginger for a perfect stir fry sauce.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon honey balsamic Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons maple balsamic
1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
Salt and freshly cracked black pepper
10 cups mixed salad greens
Directions:
Whisk together the balsamic, mustard and olive oil until the vinaigrette emulsifies and thickens.
Toss the mixed greens with the vinaigrette and serve.
